About Converges’09

Over the last few decades we are witnessing remarkable advances and explosive growth of new technologies that are changing the world very fast.  Electronics, Communication, Mechanical, Computer and Information Technology sectors are indeed playing a significant role in facing the technological challenges of the 21st century.

A number of Engineering colleges, Universities and Research Institutes are promoting all aspects of academics at national and international levels.  Still it is felt that there is a strong need to give a new dimension to our efforts to catch up the rapid strides being made in technology. Therefore, it has been thought in greater interests to create a platform that brings together the academic and the corporate industrial community for sharing and updating of knowledge in these areas.

The idea of the National Level Technical Symposium Converges’09 ("The Convergence of Knowledge") has been conceived with multi-disciplinary state-of–art applications in the field of Engineering and Technology.

Converges’09 aims to act as an interface to address new trends and challenges in emerging areas of Electronics, Communication, Mechanical and Information Technology and their various applications in the industries.

The Symposium will include keynote addresses and invited talks from eminent faculties. The selected papers on a wide range of topics will be presented and discussed in the plenary, parallel sessions to promote more collaborative works.

Theme

Major thrust of the Converges’09 will be focused on the current research trends and mainstream frontiers in Electronics, Communication, Mechanical and Information Technology for general engineering applications.  It also solicits the exposure on some of the challenging problems in the design, developments, implementation and testing work in above fields.
