Indian Economy is one of the fastest growing economy and experts predict that by 2012, India will be the third largest economy in the world. And if the study conducted by ASSOCHAM is anything to go by, then there will be a manpower shortage of around 50-60 % by that time in the construction and engineering sector. In the years to come India will remain the hub of I.T industry and the requirement for skilled engineers is going to increase manifold. In a very encouraging trend, corporate giants have started looking beyond the metros for recruitment. It is not necessarily the demand alone, infact it has much to do with the infrastructure and quality of services provided by some of the institutes in the rural areas and relatively smaller towns. RCPIT, for the last couple of years, has elevated the benchmark for engineering education.

The constructive curriculum at RCPIT consists of augmenting the university syllabus with value added training on industry oriented aptitude, communication and soft skills. The job market is dynamic and one has to be daringly innovative and unconventionally ingenious to thrive. Students at RCPIT are given creative liberties by organizing events and contests to enhance their analytical skills and lateral thinking abilities. Regular internal academic tests are conducted to monitor the progress of students and analyzed results are intimated to the parents.  Exceptional achievements and performances are appreciated and rewarded to motivate others too.  Whether in the campus or hostel, the students exhibit a spirit of camaraderie and co-existence and all this without compromising on social discipline. The T & P cell forms a vital link between the institute and the industry, has successfully drawn prominent IT industries like TCS, Wipro, Persistent and Government organization like Indian Navy, Indian Army for campus interviews, some of them at State Level.

I welcome you for a tour of our campus and anytime during the course of your visit if you feel that the objectives of our institute concur with your dreams and ambitions, you can trust on us to provide you the best possible pedestal for your career.
