R. C. Patel Institute of Technology (RCPIT), Shirpur, invites applications from eligible candidates for the Institute Level Seats that includes Institute Level Quota 20% and Seats remaining vacant after CAP Rounds for the First Year of the Four-Year Degree Courses in B. Tech. program for the academic year 2025-26.

The Institute Level Round(s) and admissions to Institute Level seats shall be carried out in accordance with Rule 13 (Pages 87–88) of the Information Brochure for the Academic Year 2025–26, as issued by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra State. The admission process will strictly follow the guidelines and schedule prescribed by the Honorable State CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra, as per Admission Notice No. 5/2025/2428 dated 23rd July 2025 (Reference: TED 1224/C.R. 14/CAP/BE).

This admissions will be conducted in accordance with Rule 13 (Page 87-88) of the Information Brochure (Academic Year 2025-26) published by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State, available under the link – 'Rules and Brochure' on https://fe2025.mahacet.org/StaticPages/HomePage, based on Merit (CET Score / JEE Score).

1. Eligibility

Only candidates who have registered through the State CET portal and verified their applications through Scrutiny Centres (SC) with a valid registration number by the State CET are eligible to apply for Institute Level seats.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • The total number of available seats for the Institute Level Round is uploaded on the Institute Website and displayed on the Notice Board as per the admission schedule.
  • If seats remain vacant after the above Institute Level (IL) Round conducted as per the given schedule, or if additional vacancies arise due to the cancellation of admissions, further IL Rounds will be conducted on subsequent days until all vacancies are filled before the cut-off date.
  • Candidates are advised to regularly visit the Institute Website and Notice Board for updates regarding any changes in the schedule or activities due to unavoidable circumstances. Candidates must frequently check the Institute Website and Notice Board for updates related to Institute Level Rounds and the availability of seats to be filled at the Institute Level.
  • The admission procedure for all categories of Institute Level Seats shall strictly follow Rule 13 (Pages 87–88) of the Information Brochure for Academic Year 2025–26, published by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State, and shall be conducted in accordance with Admission Notice No. 5/2025/2428 dated 23rd July 2025 (Reference: TED 1224/C.R.14/CAP/BE).
  • The Provisional and Final Merit Lists will be available under the "Important Link" tab on the Institute Website and/or on the Institute Notice Board. All Institute Level Admissions will be carried out strictly on a Merit Basis.
    • Seats under the Institutional Quota: Filled based on the MH-CET Percentile. Preference shall be given to Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates over All India Candidature Candidates on the basis of Inter-Se-Merit. If such candidates are not available, the seats shall be filled based on Inter-Se-Merit, following the guidelines stated in the State CET Cell Information Brochure.
    • Seats under the Against CAP (ACAP): Filled by candidates belonging to the same category for which the seat was originally earmarked during the CAP Rounds. If such candidates are not available, the seats shall be filled on the basis of Inter-Se-Merit, in accordance with the applicable guidelines of the State CET Cell.
    • Separate Final Merit Lists: Published as per the announced schedule for:
      • Gujarathi Linguistic Minority Candidature
      • MH-CET Percentile for Maharashtra State Candidature
      • JEE (Main) Score for All India Candidature
      While filling ACAP seats, if a suitable Minority candidate is not available, the seat shall be allotted to Non-Minority candidates based on Inter-Se-Merit, as per the State CET Cell Information Brochure.
  • Candidates whose names appear in the Final Merit List will be called one by one as per their merit number, starting from Institute Merit Number 1 (i.e., highest merit first).
  • A candidate may lose the claim to the allotted seat if he/she fails to remain present at the time of reporting as per the schedule. If a candidate is not present when his/her name and merit number are announced for admission confirmation, the next candidate in the merit list will be considered for seat allotment. The absent candidate may forfeit his/her opportunity.
  • If a candidate of higher merit reports late during the seat allotment process, he/she may still be considered for admission to the seats available at that time and shall be given preference over candidates with lower ranks who are present.
  • A candidate will lose the claim to participate in the round if he/she fails to produce any of the applicable original documents during the document verification process.

    In case a candidate has already taken admission elsewhere, he/she must produce:
    • A Receipt-Cum-Acknowledgement of admission to the First Year issued by the State CET Cell and signed by the concerned Institute, along with a set of photocopies of all documents, duly attested by the Principal/Director of that Institute.
    • An Undertaking stating that the original documents will be submitted within four (04) working days from the date of admission.
  • A candidate’s admission will be confirmed only when:
    • The requisite fee is paid as per the fee structure displayed on the Institute Website for Institute Level Seats
    • The required original documents are submitted at the time of reporting to the Institute
  • Candidates are strongly advised to regularly check the Institute Website and Notice Board for any changes in the schedule or for updates regarding additional vacancies arising from admission cancellations and related announcements.
  • The decision of the Chairman of the Admission Committee shall be final and binding on all candidates.

3. Reporting – Admission Confirmation at IL Level

All the candidates whose name appears in Merit List displayed by the Institute on institute website / notice board shall report as per above schedule with required documents and prescribed fee given below;

4. Admission Fee and Required Documents at the Time of IL Level Admission

As per the Minutes of Meetings of the Fee Regulating Authority (FRA) dated 24th April 2025, the following fee structure is applicable for admissions under all Institute Level Seats (Institutional Quota and Vacancy Against CAP):

Candidates are required to keep the following documents ready at the time of admission:

  • Receipt-cum-Acknowledgment issued by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, duly verified by the Scrutiny Centre (SC).
  • All original documents that were verified by the Scrutiny Centre, along with the verification copy. (See Table 2)

OR

  • Receipt of Admission (if applicable), issued by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, in case the candidate has already been admitted to another institute within Maharashtra State.

Important Note: The candidate may lose the claim to the allotted seat if he/she fails to submit the required documents and pay the prescribed fees at the time of reporting.
