About Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at RCPIT is a vital component of the institution's commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in academic and administrative performance. Established in accordance with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the IQAC works as a catalyst for quality enhancement by developing a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution.

RCPIT's IQAC serves not only as a compliance mechanism but as a strategic enabler of NEP 2020 reforms. By embedding quality assurance into its academic, administrative, and infrastructural functions, the IQAC ensures that the institution is future-ready, learner-centric, and globally competitive.

Mission

  • To develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
  • To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

Objectives

  • To ensure continuous improvement in the overall performance of the institution.
  • To promote quality enhancement and sustainability in all institutional activities.
  • To act as a nodal agency of the institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.

Functions of IQAC

  • Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities.
  • Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education.
  • Collection and analysis of feedback from all stakeholders on institutional processes.
  • Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
  • Organization of inter- and intra-institutional workshops, seminars on quality-related themes.
  • Documentation of various programs/activities leading to quality improvement.
  • Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per NAAC guidelines.
