When RCPIT was envisaged way back in 2001, there were many
skeptics who were of the opinion that establishing a new
engineering institute in a rural region was not a safe bet.
But for a handful of resolute optimists, who charted the
destiny of RCPIT, the picture was crystal clear – that of an
institute matching global standards and putting to rest the
debate on urban-rural polarization.... |

Indian Economy is one of the fastest growing economy and
experts predict that by 2012, India will be the third largest
economy in the world. And if the study conducted by ASSOCHAM
is anything to go by, then there will be a manpower shortage
of around 50-60 % by that time in the construction and
