First Year Institute Level Round

A) R. C. Patel Institute of Technology (RCPIT), Shirpur, invites applications from eligible candidates for admission against Institute Level Seats, including Institute Quota and Vacant Seats after CAP (ACAP), for admission to the First Year of the Four-Year Degree Courses in B.Tech. For the Academic Year 2026–27.

The Institute Level Round(s) and admission to Institute Level Seats shall be conducted in accordance with Rule 13 of the Information Brochure for the Academic Year 2026–27 issued by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra State.

The admission process shall strictly follow the rules, guidelines, and schedule prescribed by the State CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra, including Admission Notice No. TED 1226/C.R. 07/CAP/BE/Admission Notice No. 4/2026/1985 dated August 13, 2026 and its amendments, the Government of Maharashtra has published the rules on 24.03.2025

B. Eligibility

Only candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by the State CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra, for First Year B.Tech. admission for A.Y. 2026–27 shall be considered.

  • Candidates applying for Institute Quota / ACAP seats must:
  • possess a valid State CET Cell Registration / Application ID;
  • have completed the prescribed document verification / application confirmation process, wherever applicable;
  • satisfy the candidature, qualification and entrance examination requirements prescribed by the competent authority; and
  • produce all required original documents at the time of admission

D) Important Rules & Instructions

1. Subsequent Institute Level Rounds:

If seats remain vacant after the above round, or if vacancies arise due to cancellation/non-reporting, subsequent Institute Level Rounds may be conducted until the seats are filled, subject to the rules and before the prescribed admission cut-off date of the State CET Cell.

2. Merit Criteria

i) Institute Quota (IQ):

Admissions against Institute Level Seats shall be made strictly on the basis of the merit criteria prescribed by the State CET Cell. For Institute Quota seats, the merit list shall be prepared based on the applicable entrance examination score/percentile and eligibility criteria. Preference, wherever applicable, shall be given in accordance with the rules prescribed by the State CET Cell.

ii) Vacant Seats after CAP (ACAP):

Admissions against vacant seats after CAP (ACAP) shall be made strictly on the basis of the merit criteria prescribed by the State CET Cell. As per the guidelines of the State CET Cell, preference shall be given to candidates according to the vacant seat type mentioned in the CAP Round-IV vacancy position.

3. Separate Merit Lists:

i)   Separate Merit List for IQ & Vacant Seats after CAP (ACAP).

ii)  Separate merit lists may be prepared/displayed for eligible candidates under the respective categories/eligibility criteria, including Gujarati Linguistic Minority, MHT-CET and JEE (Main) candidates, wherever applicable and as per the prescribed admission rules.

4. Reporting:

Candidates included in the Final Merit List must report in person at the Institute on the scheduled date and time. Failure to report or respond when called for admission shall result in forfeiture of the candidate's claim for that particular seat/round, and the seat may be offered to the next eligible candidate as per merit.

5. Candidates Already Admitted Elsewhere:

Candidates who have already taken admission at another institute shall produce the Receipt-cum-Acknowledgement/Admission Receipt from the previous institute, along with an attested photocopy set of all required documents and an undertaking to submit the original documents within four (04) working days, wherever permitted under the applicable admission rules.

6. Confirmation of Admission:

Admission shall be treated as confirmed only after verification of the required original documents and full payment of prescribed fees at the time of confirmation of admission. NO PART PAYMENT / INSTALLMENT in fee is not allowed.

Fee Payment Methods (after the candidate have confirmed seat)

1. Online System (Online Portal):

Link: https://student.sesrcp.in/ Students should log in to the ERP portal using their Login ID and Password. Go to the “Fees” tab and pay the fees through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. This method is highly secure, convenient, and quick.

2. Demand Draft (DD):

Alternatively, students may pay the fees through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “R. C. PATEL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.”
