To imbibe new and effective teaching- learning methods, in year 2008, R C Patel Institute of Technology started distance-learning center by joining CDEEP, IIT Bombay (ISRO-IIT Bombay EDUSAT Network). IIT Bombay has taken an important initiative along with Engineering Colleges across the country to enhance the teaching skills of faculty colleagues in core Engineering and Science Subjects. This initiative has now become a part of the National Mission on Education through ICT supported by MHRD (Govt. of India). We have successfully conducted two ISTE workshops on "Effective teaching/ learning of Computer Programming',“Database Management Systems”,"Thermodynamics" and "Basic Electronics"with an overwhelming response of more than 50 faculties.

Now, IIT Bombay is organizing two ISTE workshops. Being one of the remote centers, RCPIT Shirpur invites all the faculty members of Electronics and E &TCEngineering department of your college to join this workshop through our center
