Computer Literacy Program 2024-25

Empowering Young Minds: Computer Literacy Program under 'E- Builder The students of the Computer Engineering Department conducted a social activity under the initiative “E-Builder” at R. C. Patel Secondary & Higher Secondary School, Tekwade (Shirpur), on 14th March 2024. The primary objective of this program was to bridge the digital divide by enhancing computer literacy among school students. In today’s digital age, basic computer skills are essential for academic and professional success. However, many students lack access to proper resources and training. Through this initiative, participants were introduced to fundamental computing concepts, practical applications, and safe internet usage. The event was successfully organized under the guidance of Dr. Nitin Patil (Head of Computer Department), with Prof. Dushyant Potdar and Prof. Pallavi Agrawal coordinating the efforts. Student coordinators Darshan Chaudhari, Mayuresh Patil, Ankita Patil, Nikita Chaudhari, Gaurav Patil and Hitesh Suryvanshi played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the event. Hands-on training sessions included basic computer operations, Microsoft Office applications, email communication, and an introduction to programming concepts. The initiative received an overwhelming response, empowering students with essential digital skills. This impactful program not only educated young minds but also inspired them to explore the world of technology, making it a successful step toward a digitally empowered future.
