On the auspicious occasion of International Women’s Day, 8th March 2025, R. C. Patel Institute of Technology, Shirpur, through the Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA), successfully organized an Educational Material and Food Distribution Programme at Priyadarshini Deaf & Mute School, Shirpur.
The primary objective of the visit was to support and encourage the education of specially-abled children. As part of the initiative, educational materials including exercise books, notebooks, and pencils were distributed to 91 primary-level students. Each child received the materials with great enthusiasm, and the joy and excitement were clearly reflected in their smiling faces. In addition, food packets were also distributed, making the occasion even more memorable for the children.
The experience was deeply fulfilling for the participating students, as it highlighted the true spirit of service and social responsibility. The happiness derived from contributing to the educational growth of these young learners was truly unexplainable. This humble initiative aimed to motivate children to read, write, and pursue education with renewed confidence and interest.
The program was successfully executed due to the continuous support, guidance, and encouragement from the Mechanical Engineering Department and the respected faculty members. The dedicated efforts of the MESA student team ensured the smooth planning and execution of the event. Such social outreach activities reinforce the institute’s commitment to community engagement and holistic education, inspiring students to become socially responsible engineers and compassionate citizens.
