The Department of Computer Engineering at R. C. Patel Institute of Technology, Shirpur, successfully organized a Parent-Teacher Meet on October 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The event aimed to strengthen communication between parents and faculty regarding students’ academic performance and overall development. The program began with parent registration, ensuring systematic participation and proper record-keeping. Faculty members briefed parents about various co-curricular and extra-curricular initiatives undertaken by the department, such as the Local Guardian Scheme, which supports students’ queries at the local level and acts as a bridge between the institute and parents. Information was also shared on higher study guidance, postgraduate opportunities, training and placement activities, industrial collaborations, internship programs, and various skill development sessions designed to enhance students’ employability. Detailed discussions were held with parents regarding their wards’ academic progress, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. Faculty members also interacted individually with parents to discuss students’ attendance, behavior, and participation in departmental activities. The meet concluded with an inspiring address by Hon. Director Prof. Dr. J. B. Patil and H.O.D. Prof. Dr. R. B. Wagh, who emphasized the importance of parental involvement in academic success and shared the department’s future plans for holistic student development. Overall, the event was highly interactive and fruitful, fostering stronger collaboration among parents, students, and faculty to ensure continuous progress and success.
