Recruitment for Glitchverse

The Glitchverse recruitment drive for this year unfolded in a well-structured manner, giving students a clear pathway to become part of RCPIT’s first dedicated game-development community. The process began with the release of applications on 30th August, inviting students from different disciplines who were eager to explore gaming, design, and emerging technologies. Applications remained open until 5th September at 11:59 PM, allowing interested candidates ample time to submit their resumes and showcase their skills. After a thorough resume-shortlisting stage, shortlisted applicants were invited to participate in interviews held on 10th and 11th September. These interviews provided an opportunity for the panel to understand each candidate’s creativity, technical knowledge, teamwork abilities, and enthusiasm for contributing to Glitchverse. The much-anticipated results were officially announced on 18th September, marking the successful completion of the recruitment cycle. Selected members have since been organized into specialized teams: Technical, Communication, Management, and Social Media. Each team has a distinct yet interconnected purpose from developing games and creating engaging content to managing events and crafting the club’s visual identity. Together, these teams will collaborate to nurture innovation, encourage peer learning, and strengthen the Glitchverse community across the RCPIT campus.
