Value Added Courses (Computer Engineering Department (A.Y.2025-26))

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance academic quality and to meet the criteria set forth by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the Department of Computer Engineering has proposed a series of Value Added Courses (VACs) for the academic year 2025–26. These courses are aimed at supplementing the curriculum, improving employability skills, and providing students with industry-relevant knowledge beyond their core subjects. The first course, Fundamentals of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, was conducted for B.Tech. students from September 1 to September 2, 2025, under the coordination of Prof. M. J. Patil, Dr. M. M. Saiyyad, and Prof. G. B. Patil. The second course, Discrete Structures & Graph Theory (DSGT), was conducted for SY B.Tech. students on September 3 and 4, 2025, coordinated by Dr. Puja Saraf, Prof. M. M. Mahajan, and Dr. Manoj Ishi. The enclosures include detailed syllabi for each of the proposed courses: Fundamentals of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Discrete Structures & Graph Theory (DSGT).
