Dr. Yogesh Kirange, faculty member of the Department of Electrical Engineering, received the Best Paper Award for the research paper titled "Next-Generation Energy Storage for Electric Vehicles: A Review of Solid-State and Competing Technologies" at the IEEE International Conference on Multidisciplinary Innovations for Smart & Sustainable Future (MISSF 2026) held during 17–18 April 2026 at SVKM Institute of Technology, Dhule.

The award-winning paper was co-authored by Mr. Nilesh Mahajan, Mr. Rupesh Patil, Mr. Sachin Sayais, and Prof. Krunalkumar Jitendrakumar Gandhi. This achievement reflects the department's commitment to excellence in research and innovation in emerging areas of electric mobility and sustainable energy systems.
