RCPIT Students Achieve National Recognition at College Youth Ideathon 2025 Grand Finale

Shirpur, Maharashtra: Students of R. C. Patel Institute of Technology (RCPIT), Shirpur brought laurels to the institute by securing a place among the Top 1000 teams in India at the Grand Finale of the College Youth Ideathon (CYI) 2025, held on 5–6 April 2025 at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.

The College Youth Ideathon (CYI) 2025, India's largest college entrepreneurship and innovation competition, was organized by ThinkStartup in partnership with State Bank of India (SBI), with support from IIT Delhi, Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC), and other innovation partners. The event witnessed participation from thousands of students across the country, showcasing innovative ideas addressing real-world challenges.

Representing RCPIT, the student team comprising Rohit Harekrishna Pawar, Chaudhary Harshal Pradip, and Girase Tejas Pradeep successfully qualified for the Grand Finale and received the prestigious "Top 1000 India – Certificate of Achievement" for their innovative project.

The students had the opportunity to present their entrepreneurial idea before eminent academicians, startup mentors, investors, and industry experts. The event also provided valuable exposure to innovation, startup ecosystems, business model development, and entrepreneurship through expert mentoring and networking sessions.

The achievement reflects the institute's commitment to promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning among engineering students. The management, Principal, faculty members, and students of RCPIT congratulated the team on their remarkable accomplishment and wished them continued success in future national and international innovation competitions.
