The Electrical Engineering Department organized a One-Day Workshop on Industrial Automation on 19th August 2025, in collaboration with AMT Skill Enhancement Institute, Nashik.

The workshop was conducted by two eminent experts:

• Mr. Sandeep B. Karkhanis, Executive Director, AMT SEI, with over 38 years of diverse industry experience in leading multinational companies, Industry 4.0, and innovation coaching.

• Mr. Rajendra Kodmelwar, Business Unit Head, AMT SEI, and former Deputy General Manager at Bosch Ltd., with expertise in automation, energy efficiency, and Industry 4.0 projects.

A total of 56 participants including students and faculty members attended the workshop. The sessions covered:

• Introduction to Industrial Automation

• Demonstrations of electronic kits, AC drives, motors & PLCs

• Hands-on practical sessions and interactive Q&A

The workshop provided valuable insights into emerging technologies and career prospects in automation, while also giving participants practical exposure to industrial tools and systems. The event received enthusiastic participation and positive feedback, highlighting the importance of such industry-oriented training programs.
