Dr. Jayashri Suresh Sonawane, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at R. C. Patel Institute of Technology (RCPIT), Shirpur, has been awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering by SAGE University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Her doctoral research was carried out on the topic "Detection of Suicide Ideation from Social Media Text Using Deep Learning-Based Feature Engineering Techniques." The research focuses on utilizing advanced Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning techniques to identify suicidal tendencies from social media content, thereby contributing to the field of mental health and early intervention.

The research was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Sachin Patel, Professor, Department of Computer Engineering, SAGE University, Indore. As part of her research work, Dr. Sonawane has published several research papers in reputed Scopus-indexed international journals and has presented her work at various national and international conferences.
