Guidelines for IL & ACAP Admissions 2026–27

I. Institute Level (IL) & ACAP Admissions

Admission to the First Year B.Tech. Program against Institute Level (IL) Seats and seats remaining vacant after completion of the CAP Rounds (ACAP / Against CAP Seats) shall be conducted in accordance with Rule No. 13 of the Information Brochure published by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra, for the Academic Year 2026–27.

Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official RCPIT website (www.rcpit.ac.in) for updates regarding admission schedules, application procedures, eligibility criteria, vacancy positions, merit lists, and other important announcements.

II. Commencement of IL / ACAP Rounds

The Institute Level (IL) and ACAP admission process will be conducted after completion of all CAP Rounds, subject to the availability of seats and the applicable rules of the State CET Cell.

III. Candidate Eligibility

a) The candidate must have completed online registration on the State CET Cell portal (fe2026.mahacet.org) for the Academic Year 2026–27.

b) The candidate's application form must be verified and confirmed through E-Scrutiny Mode or Physical Scrutiny Centre (FC) as prescribed by the State CET Cell.

c) All admissions under IL and ACAP seats shall be made strictly on the basis of Inter-se-Merit of candidates who apply to the institute within the stipulated deadline, subject to eligibility and seat availability.

IV. Schedule & Admission Procedure

The detailed IL / ACAP admission schedule, branch-wise vacancy position, and counselling procedure will be displayed on the official RCPIT website and institute notice board after the completion of CAP Round IV (or as directed by the State CET Cell). Candidates are advised to check the website regularly for updates.

V. Submission of Application

Eligible candidates may submit their IL / ACAP application through either of the following modes:

Option 1 – Online Application
Candidates may submit their application through the State CET Cell portal using their Candidate Login, as per the applicable procedure.

OR

Option 2 – Application at Institute
Candidates may visit R. C. Patel Institute of Technology (RCPIT), Shirpur, collect, fill in, and submit the physical IL / ACAP Application Form at the Admission Cell (Administrative office) along with self-attested copies of required documents and CET Cell registration/acknowledgment copy.
