R.C.P.I.T Team Wins Women’s Cricket League 2025 Championship

The Women's Cricket team of R.C. Patel Institute emerged as the winner of the Women’s Cricket League 2025. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from various teams, showcasing strong sportsmanship and talent. The R.C. Patel team delivered an outstanding performance throughout the competition to secure the championship title. The runner-up team also performed commendably in the finals. Winners and participants were awarded trophies and prizes during the closing ceremony. Faculty members and organizers congratulated the players for their achievement. The event promoted teamwork, confidence, and encouragement for women in sports.

RCPIT Students Qualify JLPT N5 and N4 Levels

R. C. Patel Institute of Technology (RCPIT), Shirpur proudly congratulates its students for successfully qualifying the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at N5 and N4 levels, marking a significant achievement in global language learning.

In the JLPT N5 level, Himanshu Ganesh Girase (TY, E&TC) and Patil Sairaj Pruthaviraj (TY, Mechanical) successfully cleared the examination. At the JLPT N4 level, Sanskruti Rajesh Pawar (B.Tech, Computer) and Dikshita Shivaji Patil (B.Tech, Data Science) achieved commendable success.

This accomplishment reflects the students’ dedication, discipline, and interest in acquiring international language skills. It also highlights the efforts of the Foreign Language Cell at RCPIT in promoting global learning opportunities.

AI Year Inauguration and Celebration

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) /Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at RCPIT proudly inaugurated the "AI Year 2025" with a grand celebration on campus, in alignment with the AI Year initiative introduced by the apex education body to promote AI literacy, innovation, and application across educational institutions.

The event commenced with a formal inauguration by Pravin Loharkar, who emphasized the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future of industries, education, and society. Dr. J.B.Patil (Director) and Dr. U.M.Patil (HOD (DS )), in their keynote address, highlighted the college’s commitment to embracing AI through curriculum enhancement, student-driven research, and interdisciplinary projects.

The celebration featured:

  • A live demonstration of student-developed AI applications,

  • Insightful talks and panel discussions with industry experts

Faculty members, students, researchers, and invited guests actively participated in this milestone event, which marks the beginning of a year-long journey of learning, collaboration, and innovation in AI.

The "AI Year" will witness a series of workshops, hackathons, guest lectures, and research symposiums aimed at fostering AI-driven thinking among young minds.

RCPIT takes pride in being at the forefront of this national initiative and looks forward to nurturing the next generation of AI leaders.

Result Declaration and Prize Distribution of ML Championship

RCPIT’s CSE(Data Science) & AIML Department’s official club 'Data Polaris' organized a 3-week online hackathon named ML Championship in association with Analytics India Magazine and MachineHack. The results were announced in the prize distribution ceremony. The top 3 winners got a free MachineHack premium subscription for 1 year worth 15,000 INR, certificates, and goodies from AIM and MachineHack.
