Board of Studies (BoS)

Department of Computer Engineering

The Board of Studies (BoS) is the academic body responsible for designing, reviewing, and updating the curriculum of the Department of Computer Engineering. The Board ensures that the curriculum aligns with NEP, industry requirements, emerging technologies, and the recommendations of the Academic Council.

Functions of Board of Studies

  • Design and revise curriculum and syllabus.
  • Recommend new courses, electives, and value-added courses.
  • Review Program Outcomes (POs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs), and Course Outcomes (COs).
  • Incorporate industry requirements and emerging technologies.
  • Suggest innovative teaching-learning methodologies.
  • Recommend assessment and evaluation methods.
  • Promote interdisciplinary and research-oriented education.
  • Submit recommendations to the Academic Council for approval.
