Program Assessment Committee (PAC)
The Program Assessment Committee (PAC) is responsible for monitoring, assessing, and continuously improving the effectiveness of the academic programme in accordance with the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE). The committee regularly evaluates the attainment of Program Outcomes (POs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs), and Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), ensuring continuous quality enhancement through systematic assessment and stakeholder feedback.
Roles and Responsibilities of Program Assessment Committee (PAC)
- To track the results of Program Outcomes (POs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs) and Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), and plan the steps required to achieve POs, PSOs and PEOs.
- To schedule the inspection period to ensure assessment of POs and PSOs in a valid time period and monitors the attainment of POs and PEOs, PSO.
- To evaluate program effectiveness and propose necessary changes/actions.
- To prepare periodic reports on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management and key stakeholders.
- To motivate the faculty and students towards attending workshops, developing projects, working models, paper publications and research.
- To assess course content / delivery.
- To interact with students, faculty, program Coordinators, module coordinator and outside / community agencies (through their representation) in facilitating PEOs.
- The PAC meets at least once in 6 months to review the program and submits a report to the Department Advisory Board.
