R. C. Patel Institute of Technology (RCPIT), Shirpur successfully organized a workshop on Robotics and Internet of Things (IoT) for Third Year B.Sc. Electronics students of MGSM’s Dadasaheb Dr. Suresh G. Patil College, Chopda, as part of an inter-college technical visit.

During the workshop, students received hands-on exposure to advanced laboratories, practical demonstrations, and expert technical interactions. On the occasion of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Foundation Day, R. C. Patel Institute of Technology (RCPIT), Shirpur organized a Plastic-Free Environment Awareness Camp at its adopted village, Rampur.

As part of the campaign, an awareness drive was conducted among villagers, emphasizing the importance of reducing plastic consumption and adopting eco-friendly alternatives. The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, R. C. Patel Institute of Technology (RCPIT), Shirpur organized an industrial visit for Final Year B.Tech (E&TC) students to Shivananda Electronics Pvt. Ltd., Deolali, Nashik, a reputed manufacturer of electronic testing instruments and security systems.

The visit aimed to enhance students’ practical knowledge and provide exposure to real-time industrial processes. During the visit, students gained insights into the design and production of electronic test and measurement instruments, quality assurance and calibration techniques, and applications of electronics in power, defence, and telecom sectors. They were also introduced to industrial research, development, and innovation practices.

कन्व्हर्जेस-२०२४ या दोन दिवसीय टेकफेस्ट मध्ये विविधतेचा स्वीकार करीत तंत्रज्ञान क्षेत्रात शिस्त, आव्हान आणि स्वारस्य यांचा समावेश केला गेला. कोडिंग आव्हानांपासून ते रोबोटिक्स स्पर्धा, आर्थिक साक्षरता कार्यशाळेपासून ते शाश्वत उपक्रमांपर्यंत प्रत्येकासाठी काहीतरी आगळे वेगळे करण्याची संधी कन्व्हर्जेस-२०२४ ने उपलब्ध करून दिली. या तंत्रज्ञाच्या उत्सवामुळे विद्यार्थी, व्यावसायिक आणि तज्ञांना एकत्र आणून सहभागींना विचारांची देवाणघेवाण आणि एकमेकांकडून शिकण्यासाठी प्रोत्साहन प्राप्त झाले. पारंपारिक टेक फेस्ट्स हे पूर्णपणे कोडिंग किंवा अभियांत्रिकीवर लक्ष केंद्रित करतात, परंतु पटेल अभियांत्रिकीच्या या तंत्र महोत्सवात कोड क्रेझ, पाथ ब्रेकर चॅलेंज, डिटेक्टिव रिटर्नस, वाटर रॉकेट, सिव्हिस्ता, स्ट्रेंजर कोड, टेक एक्स्पो, इलेक्ट्राक्स, ट्रेड टेक अशा एकून नऊ स्पर्धांचा तांत्रिक महोत्सवात समावेश करण्यात आला होता. या विविध स्पर्धांमध्ये ४४२ स्पर्धकांचे समूह मिळून १५०० हून अधिक विद्यार्थ्यांनी सहभाग नोंदविला.

मान्यवरांनी यावेळी विद्यार्थ्यांना मार्गदर्शन करतांना सांगितले की, तंत्रज्ञानामध्ये प्रचंड वेगाने होणारे बदल जाणून घेण्यासाठी विद्यार्थ्यांच्या प्रावीण्याला व शोधवृत्तीला दर्जेदार व्यासपीठ उपलब्ध व्हावे म्हणून अश्या तांत्रिक महोत्सवाचे आयोजन करणे गरजेचे आहे. अश्या कार्यक्रमातील सहभागातून संभाषण कौशल्य, व्यक्तीमत्व विकास, टीम वर्क, प्रेझेन्टेशन स्किल्स या सारखे विविध कौशल्ये विकसित होऊन पुढील व्यवहारी जीवनात त्याचा फायदा होतो. ह्या महाविद्यालयातील अनेक विद्यार्थ्यांनी स्टार्टअप सुरु केले आहेत. त्यांच्या स्टार्टअपची संकल्पना मागील वर्षांमध्ये झालेल्या कन्व्हर्जेस मध्येच त्यांना गवसली आणि त्यांनी त्याचे पुढे व्यवसायात रुपांतर केले. बरेचसे विद्यार्थी आज यशस्वी उद्योजक म्हणून प्रस्थापित झालेले आहेत. पटेल अभियांत्रिकी कडून कन्व्हर्जेस सारख्या तंत्र महोत्सावांच्या आयोजनाच्या फलस्वरूप भविष्यातील उद्योजकांची पायाभरणी निश्चित होईल अशी अपेक्षा कार्यकामातील मान्यवरांनी व्यक्त केली.

The "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Outreach Program in Schools/Community” event was organized by NMIMS, Shirpur, and R. C. Patel Institute of Technology, Shirpur, in association with Sobus, on December 22, 2023. The distinguished speaker, Mr. Arjun Malhotra is a trailblazer in the realm of Information Technology. Co-founder of the HCL group in 1975, he transformed it into one of India's largest IT corporations. In 1989, he took the helm of HCL's US operations, now known as HCL Technologies, growing it to nearly $100 million in annual revenues. He shared his remarkable words about how rural talent, innovation, skill development and progress have become a collaborative, inclusive and forward-moving path. Let us work together to bridge the gaps and foster progress. A student-led exhibit displaying innovations and ideas across different sectors. Around 700 students interacted over a series of events. A panel discussion with stakeholders from the government, academia, industrialists & students, towards building an ecosystem.

शिरपूर: येथिल आर. सी. पटेल अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालयाच्या इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स आणि टेलिकम्युनिकेशन इंजिनिअरिंग, संगणक इंजिनिअरिंग आणि इलेक्ट्रिकल इंजिनिअरिंगच्या अंतिम वर्षातील १६ विद्यार्थ्यांची कॅम्पस प्लेसमेंटद्वारे हेक्सावेअर या बहुराष्ट्रीय आयटी कंपनीमध्ये ग्रज्युएट ट्रेनी इंजिनिअर या पदासाठी वार्षिक रु. ४ लाख या वेतनश्रेणीवर निवड झाली असल्याची माहिती प्राचार्य डॉ. जे. बी. पाटील यांनी दिली.

हेक्सावेअर टेक्नोलोजीज हि माहिती तंत्रज्ञान क्षेत्रातील बहुराष्ट्रीय कंपनी आहे. जगभरात एकूण ३३ पेक्षा जास्त कार्यालयातून माहिती तंत्रज्ञासंबंधित सेवा पुरविण्याचे कार्य सदर कंपनी करत आहे. यांत बँकिंग, शिक्षण, ट्रेडिंग मार्केट, वाहतूक आणि दळणवळण, मॅन्युफॅक्चरिंग, पर्यटन, इत्यादी प्रकारच्या दुसऱ्या कंपनींना आवश्यक असलेले माहिती तंत्रज्ञानाचे उत्कृष्ट उत्पादने आणि त्यासंबंधित सेवा पुरविण्याचे काम करते. म्हणूनच हेक्सावेअर या कंपनीस आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तरावर अनेक पुरस्कार आणि मानांकन प्राप्त झाले आहेत. सदर कंपनीतर्फे आर. सी. पटेल अभियांत्रिकी च्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी ऑन कँपस ड्राईव्ह चे आयोजन केले होते. पदवी अभ्यासक्रमातील अंतिम वर्षाचे विद्यार्थी या कॅम्पस प्लेसमेंटसाठी पात्र होते. दोन स्तरावर झालेल्या या निवड प्रक्रियेत सुरवातीला अभियोग्यता आणि तांत्रिक चाचणी झाली. यानंतर वयक्तिक आणि तांत्रिक मुलाखतीच्या फेऱ्या झाल्या. यांत यशस्वीरीत्या पुढे जात संगणक अभियांत्रिकी विद्याशाखेतील जय अनिल बोदाडे, हितेश साहेबराव मराठे, गौरव मनोज चव्हाण, भूषण महादू पाटील, शुभम कौशिक व्होरा, शिवांग कौशिक व्होरा, सौरभ प्रदिप पाटील, विनित युवराज नेहेते, अश्विनी परमेश्वर लुकाडे, जागृती राजेंद्र वाघ, ऋषिका अतुल शर्मा, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स आणि टेलिकम्युनिकेशन विद्याशाखेतील कार्तिक सुभाष कानडे, जुही विजय मेने, यामिनी संजय मेने, सायली हिरामण उघाडे आणि इलेक्ट्रिकल विद्याशाखेतील मोहित रवींद्र पाटील या १६ विद्यार्थ्यांची हेक्सावेअर या बहुराष्ट्रीय आयटी कंपनीमध्ये ग्रज्युएट ट्रेनी इंजिनिअर या पदासाठी वार्षिक रु. ४ लाख या वेतनश्रेणीवर निवड झाली. महाविद्यालयाच्या प्रशिक्षण आणि प्लेसमेंट विभागाद्वारे राबविल्या जाणाऱ्या संवाद कौशल्य, अभियोग्यता चाचणी, प्रशिक्षण आणि चाचणी मुलाखती, करिअर प्लॅनिंग, मुलाखत तंत्र, गट चर्चा इ. उपक्रमांचा फायदा विद्यार्थ्यांना निवडप्रक्रियेला सामोरे जातांना झाला. या उपक्रमांसाठी आणि महाविद्यालयाचे प्रशिक्षण आणि प्लेसमेंट अधिकारी प्रा. मिल्केश जैन, समन्वयक प्रा. मयूर पाटील, प्रा. अनुपकुमार जयस्वाल आणि प्रा. विनीत पाटील यांनी परिश्रम घेतले.
