Examination Committee:

End Semester Examination :

The exams duration is 3 or 4 hours and must be conducted smoothly as per the rules and regulations defined by the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. During the examination there should be a pin drop silence in the exam hall and exchange of calculator, pen, pencil eraser etc are not allowed in the examination hall. The squad team and block supervisor should take care that there should not be any malpractices done by students. The block supervisor must ensure that students should be in uniform with identity card and hall ticket. The Supervisor also ensure that the student do not write on question paper except the exam seat number.

Roles and Responsibilities Information Technology Team:

  • The IT person must download the university question paper from university portal one hour earlier the start of examination.
  • To ensure the proper confidentiality and printed the required number of question papers before TWENTY Minutes of start of examination.

Roles and Responsibilities of Senior Supervisor Team:

  • To ensure the question paper downloaded and printed as per the requirement.
  • To distribute the question papers on each block.
  • To check smooth conduction of exam during the examination time.
  • To collect the answer sheets from the block supervisor in exam control room after the end of examination.

Roles and Responsibilities of Block Supervisor Team:

  • Block supervisor should report HALF HOUR earlier before the start of examination in EXAMINATION HALL.
  • Block supervisor should collect the answer sheets for the allotted block, TWENTY FIVE minutes earlier the start of examination.
  • Block supervisor should reach examination hall FIFTEEN minutes earlier the start of examination.
  • Block supervisor should distribute answer sheets TEN minutes earlier the start of examination.
  • Block supervisor are not be allowed to read/talk when you are on supervision.
  • Block supervisor must ensure that cleanliness of bench. There should be no written matter on bench and nearby wall.
  • Block supervisor should ensure that student appearing for examination are present with I-CARD and HALL-TICKET.
  • Block supervisor should instruct the student how to fill up the front of ANSWER SHEET.
  • Block supervisor must ensure that the student has filled all information correctly and neatly on front page of ANSWER SHEET before authorizing.
  • Block supervisor must ensure the total count of question paper received from exam coordinator is correct and distribute it on time.
  • Block supervisor must fill the correct information on Junior Supervisor Report.
  • Block supervisor must ensure pin-drop silence in exam hall and no student is making copy of other. Block supervisor must ensure the correct information is filled on supplement before authorizing.
  • Reliever (if necessary) will be provided to you after half an hour after the start of examination for NOT MORE THAN FIVE MINUTES.
  • Block supervisor should not allow the student to leave the exam hall before 2 hours. If allowed collect his/her question paper.
  • Block supervisor must collect the answer sheet with supplements (if provided) properly tightened when the last bell rang.
  • Block supervisor must submitted all answer sheet of block to Senior Supervisor in exam control room.

Roles and Responsibilities of Internal Squad Team:

  • Squad team should ensure, that exam conduction is smooth without any malpractices
  • Squad team should ensure that no students carry any cheat or any malpractice material with him during the examination.

End Semester Examination Practical :

The practical exams must be conducted smoothly as per the rules and regulations defined by the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. During the examination there should be a pin drop silence in the practical exam hall and exchange of calculator, pen, pencil eraser etc are not allowed in the examination hall.

Conduct of Practical Examinations:

  • To prepare and distribute code of conduct of examination well in advance to students and faculty.
  • To assign duties to non-teaching faculty for smooth and serious conduct of exam. To ensure –
    • That, time table / exam schedule is displayed and brought in the notice of students as well as faculty.
    • That, necessary arrangements are made for travelling, accommodation and food of external examiners.
    • That, faculty (internal examiner) is acquainted about examination process and follows University rules for conduct of examination.
    • That, sufficient stationary, viz. mark-list, CR format, answer-books, student attendance sheets, etc. is provided.
    • That, answer books received at end of practical examination are properly sealed, signed by both examiners and handed over to examination section

That, marks are entered carefully in the mark-list provided, both examiners have signed the same and it is sealed, signed and submitted to examination section immediately at the end of practical exam.

Internal Sessional Examination:

During the examination there should be a pin drop silence in the exam hall and exchange of calculator, pen, pencil eraser etc are not allowed in the examination hall. The squad team and block supervisor should take care that there should not be any malpractices done by students. The block supervisor must ensure that students should be in uniform with identity card and hall ticket.

Roles and Responsibilities Internal Sessional Exam Coordinator:

  • To prepare and distribute code of conduct of examination well in advance to students and faculty.
  • To appoint the departmental ISE coordinator from other department.
  • To assign duties to Teaching and Non-teaching faculty for smooth and serious conduct of exam.
  • Time table / exam schedule is prepared, displayed and brought in the notice of students as well as faculty.
  • Question papers are submitted to exam coordinator well in advance of day of conduct of said examination.
  • The seating arrangement is done for each student from each class appropriately and is well communicated to students to avoid confusion.
  • Invigilation duties are assigned and duty schedule is communicated to the faculty in advance.
  • Sufficient stationary, viz. answer-books, student attendance sheets etc. is provided.
  • Faculty (Invigilator) is acquainted about invigilation process and follows University/College rules for conduct of examination.
  • Smooth and proper conduct of examination by visiting examination halls.
  • Invigilator has verified all entries on answer-book made by student and signed every answer-book. (Main as well as supplement)
  • Answer books are given for valuation to concerned faculty and that, valuated answer books are submitted by faculty in stipulated time.
  • Sessional marks are properly entered in mark list by concerned faculty after careful valuation and submitted to departmental coordinator.
  • The marks for internal assessment are awarded by faculty maintaining transparency in the process.

Roles and Responsibilities of Departmental Coordinator Team

Supervision Coordinator

  • Make Supervision chart as per the block requirement
  • Display the supervision chart in the form of notice to respective faculty
  • Prepare the attendance of supervisor’s day and session wise.
  • Arrange supervision and squad duties to the staff appointed.
  • After the end of examination collect the absent students report from departmental coordinators

Stationery Coordinator

  • Collect the blank answer sheet as per the number of students in college
  • Collect the blank attendance sheet as per the number of block and division
  • Prepare the number of blank answer sheet bunches as per the number of blocks
  • Distribute the answer sheet and attendance sheet to the supervisor
  • Collect the absent numbers from block supervisor and submit it to Supervision Coordinator

Seating Arrangement Coordinator

  • Make the seating arrangement chart as per the number of students and class room available.
  • Display the seating arrangement for students at college notice board
  • Display the seating arrangement of students at the block
  • Display the Seating arrangement details at Exam control room

Question Code Coordinator

  • Collect the shortlisted question from each departmental Coordinator
  • Make the coded question paper in multiple copies as per the requirement of number of blocks
  • Distribute the coded question paper to the block supervisor

Roles and Responsibilities of Block Supervisor Team

  • Block supervisor should report TWENTY MINUTES earlier the start of examination in EXAMINATION HALL.
  • Block supervisor should collect the answer sheets for the allotted block, FIFTEEN minutes earlier the start of examination.
  • Block supervisor should reach examination hall TEN minutes earlier the start of examination.
  • Block supervisor should distribute answer sheets TEN minutes earlier the start of examination.
  • Block supervisor are not allowed to read/talk when you are on supervision.
